U.S. Supreme Court Rejects OKC Petition to Revive Panhandling Ordinance

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday refused Oklahoma City’s petition for a hearing in the City’s efforts to have a ruling from the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals on a panhandling ordinance reversed. That ruling, a victory for plaintiffs including the Oklahoma Libertarian Party, overturned a City ordinance which violated the First Amendment.
