Celebrate our 50th Anniversary by joining us at the 2022 OKLP State Convention February 25 – 27th!

Featuring nationally-known guest speakers Hannah Cox, Matt and Terry Kibbe, and Oklahoma’s own Dr. Keith Smith of Surgery Center of Oklahoma, this year’s convention also includes a Friday night reception, the annual business meeting, Sunday morning panel discussions, and our 50th Anniversary celebration on Saturday night at the Founders Dinner and fundraising gala. Whether you are new or a long-time member of the party, or simply interested in learning what we are about, we encourage you to attend.

*Admission does not confer delegate status.
The OKLP State Convention is self-funded through the sale of packages, which cover convention-related expenses including guest speakers, venue rental, printed materials, meals, awards, and more. OKLP Members who wish to attend without purchasing a ticket are limited to the Business Meeting only: no meals, speakers, or other events are accessible. Please register early to facilitate proper credentialing, even if you are only planning to attend the business meeting. If you have any questions about your membership status, please email our Development Director.

Members of the Oklahoma Libertarian Party (OKLP) have the right to participate in the official affairs and governance of the Party, including serving as delegates to the State Convention. More information about how to become a delegate may be found here.

The first thing to do is register to attend. Then, in addition to making sure you meet the delegate qualifications as provided in the answer above, you should become familiar with the OKLP Bylaws and Platform , and the amendment recommendations from our Bylaws & Platform Committee (see the next question below for links). Brushing up on the basics of parliamentary procedure will be helpful, too. A quick-reference to the most basic rules may be found here.

Conventions should be regarded similarly to an executive business meeting. Many older children find the conventions fascinating and informative, but younger ones may become distracting for everyone attempting to participate in the business being conducted.

Any OKLP Member may nominate any other Member(s) for this award. Click here for more information. NOMINATIONS FOR THIS AWARD CLOSED ON NOVEMBER 30, 2021. NOMINATIONS RECEIVED AFTER THAT DATE WILL BE DISCARDED.

The “Coalition Partner of the Year” award recognizes an individual outside the OKLP who has worked with us, supported our efforts, and exhibited passion for our causes.
